Wir ermöglichten benachteiligten Kindern aus der Region Bakumba einen 6-jährigen Schulbesuch. Das Projekt wurde 2009 ins Leben gerufen.

Mit Beginn der Unruhen mussten auch die Schulen schließen. Einige staatliche Schulen nehmen ihren Unterrichtsbetrieb langsam wieder auf. Leider lässt es die Lage noch nicht zu daß wir uns dem anschließen können.

Wir haben einige Stimmen ehemaliger Schülerinnen und Schüler gesammelt, die von ihren Erfahrungen an unserer Schule berichten:

What I do:   I am a University student at UB Buea. I also have Computer IT, Cyber or Documentary training.

About the German school:  German school which I attended many years ago, used to be the best school in Bakumba Village. Free Education was given our Parents could spend less or nothing all school materials like books, pens, uniform, etc where always provided freely to all the students

They were really really helpful to the Bakumba Community cuz they were the best when it comes to education back then.

I'm proud to talk about my school ( German school) today because it was unforgettable experience and the memories will keep on being in our hearts despite the fact that we have nothing but you guys were there for us we are so grateful for that.

Further more, I want to use this opportunity to appreciate and thank the person who wrote the project thank you mum for the grate opportunity that you brought in our lives and in our village is because of you we were able to learn in German school, may God continue to bless you for us.

Moreover, I also want to us this privilege to thank our teachers who were our second parents, they stood by us from the first day to the last day that we were living the school may God continue to give you guys the strength.

I'm proud to talk about my school today. This German school has given me so many memories from learning in class, to playing with friends, to celebrating together there place was my second home.l want to say thank you.

First, to the person who wrote the project with the name of Etongue Emmerence thanks you for your hard work and idea that help our school grow and we have opportunities to learn and shine and thank to all our teachers indeed you guys were teacher and parents.

To the white who made our school fees so cheap, and who gifts us with uniform,book ,bag,shoe ? and so many other things - sir, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your kindness will never be forgotten
